In consideration of my participation in the Boston Baseball Association (BBA), Be Clutch tournaments, and associated baseball programs and events, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree to the following:
General Participation Terms
1. Release from Liability: I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless BBA/Be Clutch and its officers, agents, employees, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, the owners and lessors of the venues used for events (collectively referred to as “Releasees”) from any and all claims related to illness, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, whether arising from the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
2. Agreement Not to Sue: I agree to indemnify, save, and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, demands, actions, or suits, including legal fees, arising from any loss, damage, or injury—including but not limited to death, illness, injury, or disease—related to my participation in any BBA/Be Clutch event, regardless of the legal theory involved.
3. Responsibility for Personal Safety: I understand that I am solely responsible for any injury, accident, illness, or death that may occur during my participation in any BBA/Be Clutch activity, including practices and games. I acknowledge that any costs incurred are my responsibility.
4. Observance of Rules: I commit to adhering to all rules established by the BBA/Be Clutch leadership team and League Commissioners. A complete set of rules can be found at www.BBABOSTON.com.
5. Abusive Behavior Policy: I acknowledge that fighting, physical abuse toward players, umpires, or spectators, and the use of offensive language will not be tolerated. Violating this policy may lead to my expulsion from the league and forfeiture of all fees paid.

Team Participation
This waiver applies to any team I may join under the BBA/Be Clutch umbrella, regardless of whether it is listed on this waiver.
Infectious Disease Awareness
7. Exposure Risks: I acknowledge that participation may involve exposure to infectious diseases, including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, Triple E, and COVID-19. While adherence to safety protocols may mitigate risks, the potential for serious illness or death exists.
8. Assumption of Risk: I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, whether known or unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Releasees, and accept full responsibility for my involvement.
9. Willingness to Comply: I agree to follow all customary terms for participation regarding protection against infectious diseases. If I notice any significant hazards during my involvement, I will remove myself and notify the nearest official immediately.
Consent for Media Release
10. Media Release: I grant BBA/Be Clutch permission to use my likeness, image, and voice in photographs, videos, and other media for promotional purposes without compensation or further approval.
I have read the Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that by signing, I am relinquishing significant rights, and I do so freely and voluntarily, without any coercion. I also agree to adhere to the league and tournament rules and code of conduct. Furthermore, I confirm that I am signing this form on my own behalf and not having anyone else sign it for me.
I further understand that typing my name below constitutes a legally binding electronic signature, equivalent to a handwritten signature, in accordance with applicable electronic signature laws, including the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (ESIGN) Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).
