The 2025 Boston Baseball Association tryout and draft is set for Sunday, January 19th! Tryouts will take place at Extra Innings in Middleton at 2:00 PM, with registration beginning at 1:30 PM.
All eight managers from our franchises will be on hand to scout players. Following the tryout, the managers will hold a draft, and all players will be contacted by the managers who selected them.

*In off-season negotiations, the Boston Havoc have finalized a trade, sending their 2025 8th and 9th picks, along with their 2026 first and second-round picks, to the North Boston Devil Rays in exchange for the 2025 3rd overall pick.
Omar Ortiz, owner and GM of the Boston Havoc, stated on BBA TV, "This trade allows us to get younger and potentially bring in a great player to build our future around while helping to reduce our team's average age of 40."
When asked if giving up four total picks was excessive for a 3rd overall pick, Ortiz replied, "We had to be aggressive and mortgage the future to improve our ball club for 2025."
Alvaro Castillo, owner and GM of the newly formed North Boston Devil Rays, responded to Ortiz's comments about their team's age during an interview with BBA TV. "Don't be fooled; they may be older, but they can still play. We all have needs to address, but this gives us the opportunity to assess what other teams require before we make our move. Haha, and steal the draft!"
