The Boston Baseball Association (BBA) is a vibrant and inclusive baseball community designed specifically for adults aged 28 and over who share a passion for baseball.
Founded with the vision of creating a competitive yet enjoyable environment, the league offers players the chance to reconnect with the game they love and showcase their skills on the field.
Schedule
The BBA offers a 20-game schedule that gives players plenty of chances to sharpen their skills and get ready for the playoffs, which begin right after Labor Day weekend.
With games held on a combination of Sundays, Tuesdays, and/or Thursdays, players can comfortably integrate their passion for baseball into their busy lives. This flexible scheduling strikes a great balance between competitive play and personal responsibilities, making it easy for everyone to take part.
Championship
At the heart of the BBA is a commitment to excellence. We recognize that winning a championship is no easy feat, which is why we take pride in honoring our champions the right way—the BBA way! The champions will receive championship rings, t-shirts, and a team trophy to celebrate their remarkable achievement.
League Awards and Ceremony
The league goes beyond just focusing on the championship; it also recognizes individual talent. Throughout the season, players have the opportunity to participate in two All-Star games, showcasing their skills alongside the top performers from the league and beyond.
Additionally, the BBA honors outstanding players with the prestigious MVP trophy and the Cy Young Award, celebrating excellence in both offensive play and pitching.
As the season comes to an end, the BBA hosts its annual league award ceremony. This event is a highlight of the year, where league awards are presented, delicious food is enjoyed, and adult beverages are shared among players, coaches, and families.
It's a time to celebrate achievements, share stories, and reflect on the memorable moments of the season. This ceremony acknowledges the hard work and dedication of all participants, reinforcing the league's commitment to creating a supportive and engaging environment.

Rooted in Boston, we also draw players from as far west as Worcester and cover the Northeast and Southeast regions. In our inaugural season, we proudly welcomed over 300 players to the league.
